The Mechanical Rabbit

Vitals
Playwright:
Padraic Duffy
Description:

A darkly funny and surreal tale of a young boy's search for identity and free will. This multimedia concoction of puppetry (in styles ranging from Japanese bunraku to shadow puppets to Muppet), actors and music is brought to you by the author of 2001's critical smash hit, Feet.

This show was written for adult audiences. Although it has no sexual content, the surreal, abstract, and occasionally scary world it depicts may render the show inappropriate for younger juvenile audiences.

"Ingenious... breathtakingly inventive... groundbreaking!" - L.A. TIMES
"Ambitious... outstanding... fascinating!" - BACKSTAGE WEST
